How to Update Your Phone Number
For your protection, federal regulations specify that we must verify certain information when updating contact information. This is done so that your information cannot be fraudulently changed without your knowledge. We know this causes some inconvenience, but please remember this is for your protection.
Online via CFCU Online Banking
Sign in to your Online Banking account here.
Once you have signed in, you may click on the Settings link in the top right hand corner.
Select the Profile option and you will see the option to change your Email and Phone Number.
You may be prompted to answer a Challenge Question (security question) before you can update your Email Address, Day Phone, and Evening Phone. Please Note: If you have a mobile phone, we recommend populating your mobile phone number in either the Day Phone or Home Phone field.
Once you have updated and verified your contact information, click Save.
In Person at a CFCU Branch
This is another secure method of updating your contact information. Because you are in front of a CFCU employee, we can easily verify your identity and signature, and ensure that we have a current photo ID on file for you.
Please Note
Due to federal regulations, we cannot accept change of address requests by email, through the “Contact Us” form on our website or through a mobile banking message. These forms do not contain sufficient authentication.
We always caution our members from sending any personal information such as account or Social Security numbers via email or other unsecured messages, as it could be obtained by a fraudster. These contact methods are best suited to general inquiries.
