Application Process

We strive to have a transparent application and interview process. The hiring process can fluctuate timewise but we try to keep candidates informed of their status through e-mails or text messages.

  1. Application
    • You must complete submit your application online to be considered for employment. No phone calls or walk-in applications, please.
  2. Initial Introduction
    • If we like what we see on your application and résumé, someone from our Human Resources team will reach out to you for an introduction and to schedule next steps.
  3. Background Check
    • All candidates will be subject to a background check and credit verification following an interview. Please keep in mind that CFCU promotes a substance-free work environment, and new hires may be subject to substance testing.
  4. Hiring Manager Interview
    • Onsite interviews with the hiring manager generally take 1-2 hours and may include other managers and/or department staff.
  5. Reference Verification
    • References may be contacted for the selected candidates after the interview process is complete.
  6. Offer
    • Once all of this is done and complete, the candidate will receive a written offer with the details on compensation, working hours, location and start date and time.
