11 Paid Holidays

All employees are eligible for eleven paid holidays per year. Communication Federal Credit Union observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Paid Time Off

Regular full-time and part-time employees are eligible for Paid Time Off, which is accrued on a bi-weekly basis. The rate of accrual increases with years of service.

200% 401(k) Match

Communication Federal Credit Union will double your contribution to your 401(k) plan, up to 5%! That means if you contribute 5% of your eligible compensation to your 401(k), CFCU will contribute an additional 10%. Matching contributions are subject to a vesting schedule.

Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

All full-time employees are able to enroll in medical, dental, and vision coverage on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. We offer a choice of two medical plans from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, dental plans from Delta Dental, and vision plans from VSP.

Basic Life and AD&D Insurance

CFCU provides term life insurance at no cost to employees effective the 1st of the month following 60 days of full-time employment. Insurance coverage is equal to 1.5 times annual earnings, up to a maximum of $250,000.

Short-Term Disability Insurance

CFCU employees are offered Voluntary Short-Term Disability as income protection. Disability insurance replaces a portion of your income when you can’t work due to an illness or injury over a certain period of time.

Long-Term Disability Insurance

After one year of employment, all full-time employees are enrolled in long-term disability coverage that is paid for by the credit union. It covers 66.67% of the employee’s total monthly earnings (up to $11,500 each month) and pays benefits after a 60 day waiting period until the employee reaches the Social Security normal retirement age – as long the employee is still unable to work due to a covered disability.

Flexible Spending Accounts

All full-time employees may elect to have up to $2,650 withheld on a pre-tax basis for qualified medical expenses and/or up to $5,000 for dependent care expenses.

Educational Assistance / Tuition Reimbursement

After one year (52 weeks) of service, full-time employees may be reimbursed for education costs for courses approved by the Credit Union. Approval must be obtained prior to commencement of each course per semester. Reimbursements will not exceed the current non-taxable IRS limit in a 12-month period (calendar year). The 2018/2019 limit is $5,250.

Branch & Corporate Incentive Program

Full-time and part-time employees are eligible to receive bonuses based on individual productivity or annual corporate goals, depending on position.
