Scams to be Aware of in 2020

We have received reports of fraudsters posing as CFCU representatives and calling, texting, or emailing members about their account(s) being compromised. The fraudsters are asking the member to provide their personal information, including member number, personal identification number (PIN), online banking username, and password to verify activity on their account.

You should never disclose confidential information like this, and CFCU will never ask you for your Online Banking credentials, verification code, or PIN.

If you are contacted about suspicious account activity or are unsure if you received legitimate communication from CFCU, please contact us directly using the number on the back of your card or through comfedcu.org
